Dell Precision M4400 Mobile Workstation Review
By business laptop |

Business laptops are expected to appear elegant, come out sturdy, and likely to perform fast and strong. With Dell’s Precision M4400 laptop, it seems everything is in it. It is fast, secure, and hardworking.
The case of this monster laptop is tough and stable. It provides great protection for the notebook just as the case of other Latitude models do. The covering is not just to defend the hardware inside but also to project a classy impression on onlookers.
Inside the case is a 15.4” WUXGA screen that displays 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. It is amazingly high compared to its counterparts from other brands. Because of this, it can display great image resolutions even under the blinding glare of sunlight. Viewing your favourite sites and opening windows of your most-used software in different angles is not a problem with this portable computer.
The Precision M4400, as we can see, is a working beast. It can perform well just like the E6500. Some users would even consider it better. This mobile office is a workhorse with its powerful Intel Core 2 Extreme processor that ticks with 3.06GHz. This is why the ability to display of this notebook is extremely in high quality performance. Aside from its powerful brains, it has an nVidia Quadro FX 770M which can provide neat graphical display. This is significant when you are into the architectural or building design business or if you are working as a design engineer which makes you more prone to CAD or design software utilization. Considering these high-end features plus an 8GB of DDR3 RAM, there’s nothing more to ask.
Its keyboard has the usual size, the typical keyboard referred by touch typists. With this, unlike any other business laptops, there’s a minimal need for familiarization in exploiting it. Such conditions can only be applicable on rare cases such as the spacebar which is not situated at the center part of the keyboard.
This business laptop extends its connections and ports. On the left corner, it is where you can find the Kensington Lock, two USB ports, VGA output, SD card reader and ExpressCard. On the right side, you can have the PCMCIA, DVD Drive, SmartCard, FireWire, microphone jack, speaker or headphone jack, and another two USB ports. On the rear side, there’s the local area network (LAN), the display port, and the power connector. Meanwhile, there’s nothing you can find in the front part of the notebook.
In summary, Dell has introduced to us another top of the class business laptop. It is a working machine with so much high-end features to offer. It can do well with the task it assigns to perform. In fact, it can finish its job quickly as it houses perfect combinations of its hardware for data processing.
