The Thin Sleek Inspiron Mini 12
By business laptop

Dell has produced the Inspiron Mini 12 as one of the most vibrant mobile computers in the market. With design similar to its Mini family, its glossy covering could not escape the fingerprints. But with a simple wipe, its beauty will then be restored. And with its size, it is obviously smaller than some of its direct counterparts. So let’s try to dig out some of its basic and unique features.
The 12-inch screen in Inspiron Mini 12 laptop can offer good viewing for webpages. With its 16:9 aspect ratio for graphic display, scrolling for better views on sites will not be a problem and gives you a smoother line of sight. The display is even higher with its 1280 x 800-pixel resolution. Moreover, the screen has minimal glare even if it is glossy. This is just amazing how Inspiron Mini 12 did it.
This cute laptop can also compete when it comes to its brains. With 1GB of RAM that works with 533MHz Intel Atom Z520 Silverthorne-class processor, it can operate both Windows Vista and Windows XP. Ubuntu is also applicable with this netbook. This business laptop is not that impressive because the RAM could not exceed to 1GB if you want to upgrade it. This can also be an issue when it comes to opening up multiple windows especially if it is inclined with multimedia processing like videos and heavy graphic applications. It can hang, or worse, it will stop working. Also, it has a small 60GB HDD that can handle operating systems in a usual manner but is, of course, pretty limited with memory space.
To be able for a laptop to work better, there should be a working harmony with its power and its battery life. However, this netbook is a little bit short because of its 24Wh battery. This kind of battery can only give at about three hours when utilized with this kind of notebook. This is the reason why it doesn’t appeal to everybody. But on the brighter side, you can change the battery for better and longer performance. This way, this can be utilized effectively by business professionals.
One thing that you have to look is the keyboard. The keys require effort to utilize it fully without any hassles. And because it is minimized to be as compact as possible, the comfort feature of the keyboard is compromised. But if you can be patient enough to learn and adjust to the keyboard, which is incredibly downsized, then you can live with this thing longer than expected. The touchpad design, however, is better than most netbooks. Other than it is sensitive, it is huge for the size of the laptop.
Despite its downside, with its portability, Dell has offered another fine piece at a starting price of $474 on its base package. Now, it’s not only about entertainment and flexibility, but also about affordability.
